Relief Society Sisters Give at Thanksgiving

The Relief Society Sisters of the Huntsville Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints served the Thanksgiving Meal at the Madison County Senior Citizen’s Center in November. The sisters not only acted as servers but went in the day before and decorated the center and tables with a Thanksgiving theme.  This is the second year that the sisters have taken on this project. The center provides a lunch meal to the elderly in the county for a small donation.  The older people in the community appreciate the special treatment they receive. The branch missionaries jumped at the chance to help serve and had a great time. The directors of the center have been so thrilled with the extra help and impressed with the beautiful way the sisters decorate, the sisters returned in December to decorate for the Christmas meal.
